Board Members

Sandy Martin
PRESIDENT
Living in Block House Creek for over twenty years has been an opportunity to watch our neighborhood grow and to see the many new and different issues we face. When considering a Board position, I began attending meetings and signed on as an Architectural Committee member. As a result, I have been fortunate to meet many amazing people striving to protect our interests as homeowners. Considering my previous experience in working with diverse groups of people, on behalf of residents, it is my desire to supplement the Association’s educational efforts across a broad range of subjects. I look forward to being a part of this Board as we continue to grow and change.

Samantha Guidera
VICE PRESIDENT
We moved to Block House Creek in 2013. We love this neighborhood and the people in it—very grateful for the community we find here. I have served on the board since 2021, and have had the privilege to coordinate many of our community events such as the back to school carnival and the campout with the help of other board members, and volunteers from our great neighborhood. I am a mom to a young one in BHC Elementary, a silver lab, and a very sweet pug. I work for a large tech company and love to be out in nature, and spending time with my family and friends.

Lisa Pepperell
TREASURER
I’ve lived in BHC for 22 years. My husband and I have raised our family here. We’ve always loved the BHC community. We sought it out, due to its amenities and schools. Some of the activities I’ve been involved with over the years include the Girl Scouts, Tidal waves, and PTA. I look forward to trying to further improve the community we all cherish and love.

Justin Powell
SECRETARY
I have been a member of the Blockhouse Creek community for almost 4 years after a move from the small town where I grew up. What made me fall in love with this neighborhood was the strong sense of community; something about which I am very passionate. I was brought onto the BHC Owner’s Association last year due to my active presence in the community, previous experience in business ownership, construction, and networking. I sold my welding construction company in 2022. I now enjoy my time running a small repair shop, hiking, fishing, camping, and off-roading. I look forward to serving the community in ways that benefit all residents.

Cynthia Langdon
MEMBER AT LARGE
My name is Cynthia Langdon, my family and I have lived in BHC since 2008. We have raised 2 daughters in this great community. I have been on the hoa board for 2 years and I served as a committee member. I was also a board member for the neighborhood swim team. I care about this community and want to keep it a great place to live.
