Crosswalk Safety Day

In support of National Bike and Walk to School Day, your BHC OA Maintenance and Safety Committee is hosting a Crosswalk Safety Day on Oct 10th. Here is the basic information on the event.

Block House OA Crosswalk Safety Day!

When: Wednesday, October 10th Shift 1 – 7:00 am – 8:00 am Shift 2 – 8:00 am – 9:00 am Shift 3 – 2:20 pm – 3:20 pm Shift 4 – 3:20 pm – 4:30 pm

Where: At the main crosswalks along the 3 mile loop

How can I help? Sign up with Ursula Logan at ursula@blockhousemud.com or via her Facebook page for a specific time.

What do I wear? The BHC OA Maintenance and Safety Committee will have neon safety vests and STOP paddles for you to use while working the crosswalk. A brief training will be given 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.

Goal: To raise crosswalk safety awareness in our community.
